2. Purpose and nature of the service

Diagnostic Station is an intermediary platform acting in its own name. Through this website, the Owner sells access to analytical and sexual-health tests that are carried out, analysed and reported entirely by a legally authorised clinical laboratory that is separate from the Owner (the “Laboratory”).

The Owner is not a healthcare centre, has no clinical premises, has no medical staff of its own, and does not perform medical acts, sample collection, analyses, diagnoses or interpretation of results.

The content of this website is for information only. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment. No information published on diagnosticstation.com replaces a consultation with a registered healthcare professional. If you have a symptom or a question about your health, see a healthcare professional.

3. Conditions of use

Anyone who accesses this website is a User. This notice sets out the conditions of use of the site. The User agrees to:

  • Use the website in line with the law, good faith and public policy.
  • Not enter false data, another person’s data without permission, or data that misleads anyone about your identity or age.
  • Not carry out any activity that damages, overloads, disables or impairs the website, or stops its normal use.
  • Not try to access restricted areas, other users’ accounts, or the information systems of the Owner or of third parties.

The services are only for people aged 18 or over. The Owner may ask for proof of age and may cancel any order where there are reasonable grounds to believe the User is under 18.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

All content on this website (text, photographs, graphics, images, icons, design, source code, trade marks and trading names) belongs to the Owner or to third parties who have authorised its use, and is protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

Reproduction, distribution, public communication, adaptation or any other use without the Owner’s express written permission is prohibited.

Designs, logos, text or graphics that are not the Owner’s belong to their owners. Showing them on this site does not mean endorsement or sponsorship.

5. Limitation of liability

The Owner is responsible for the proper handling of the sale, the purchase, the payment and communication with the User. The purchase is the test the User pays for online. After that, the User visits the partner laboratory during collection hours. Barcelona and Madrid do not need an appointment. Valencia and Málaga do. The User calls the laboratory to book. The phone number is on the authorisation we send after payment. It is not a medical appointment.

The Owner is not responsible for:

  • The actual performance of the analytical test, the sample collection, the processing of the sample, the issue of the report, or the content of the results. These are the sole responsibility of the Laboratory.
  • Decisions the User makes about their health based on information published on the website.
  • Interruptions, errors, viruses or technical failures of the website that come from causes outside the Owner’s control, without affecting the Owner’s duty of care in keeping the service running.
  • The content of third-party websites that diagnosticstation.com may link to.

Nothing in this clause limits the Owner’s liability where Spanish consumer or healthcare law does not allow that limitation.

6. Links

Links to third-party sites are offered only as a reference. The Owner does not control them and does not accept responsibility for their content, policies or practices.

7. Third-party content

The Owner works with the competent authorities and will remove or block any unlawful content once it has actual knowledge of it, in line with articles 11 and 16 of the LSSICE. If you find content that may be unlawful, email us at hello@diagnosticstation.com.

8. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, which form part of this Legal Notice.

The Owner may change this Legal Notice to reflect new legislation or changes to the service. The current version is the one published on this website at any time.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is governed by Spanish law.

For disputes with Users who are consumers, the courts of the consumer’s home address have jurisdiction, under consumer protection law. In all other cases, the parties submit to the courts of Barcelona.

In case of discrepancy between the Spanish version and any translation (English or French), the Spanish version prevails.
